Job Overview

Responsible for multiple accounts based upon geography, industry, or a large set of named accounts to achieve financial goals. Provides the key client relationship to a major client or clients through relationships with executives and leaders in the client organization in a part of a large or mid-sized market or part of a large region. Grows revenue by leveraging the full IQVIA offerings and identifying new business opportunities.

Essential Functions

  • Ensures the quarterly and full year revenue targets are met to achieve or exceed the assigned revenue and growth goals in assigned accounts or sales territory.
  • Takes proactive role in contract strategy.
  • Assists management in developing strategies for expanding scope of existing contracts and identifying new business and win-back opportunities.
  • As required, may lead negotiations in renewing contract(s) within assigned accounts.
  • Develops relationships with key executives and decision makers within assigned accounts.
  • Assists in managing the overall relationship to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction with product/service offerings.
  • Coordinates the involvement of IQVIA resources (marketing, sales specialists, consulting, and client service) in actively promoting the full IQVIA portfolio of offerings to anticipate and meet client needs.
  • Maximizes sales by effectively utilizing sales and marketing materials, appropriate databases, and technologies.
  • Executes account plan(s) and monitors progress.
  • Adjusts plan accordingly to consider new IQVIA product/service offerings as well as significant changes to business conditions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree Required.
  • 5 years relevant account and sales management experience required.
  • Strong verbal communication and listening skills.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $98,400.00 - $147,600.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
